What we're after

  • Python or TypeScript, and hands-on experience building something on an LLM API that went beyond a prototype.
  • Understanding of retrieval: chunking, embeddings, reranking, and why naive RAG underperforms.
  • Interest in evaluation - building graded test sets and measuring whether a prompt change actually helped.
  • Comfortable with API integration, queues, and reasoning about cost and latency at volume.
  • Bonus: agent frameworks, structured extraction, or vector databases.
